Tweeddale Batch 4
The Tweeddale was produced by
J&A Davidson established 1820 in
Coldstream by the river Tweed in the
Scottish Borders and then by the
current producers great Grandfather
up until 1940.
After a 70 year gap it is now
recreated as a limited edition,
small batch, Scotch Whisky.
In batch four the award winning single grain is 16 years old. Seven of the malts are from the same casks as batch 1, 2 & 3 just older (14 to 21 years old).
The lowland malt is 14 years old,
matured in an Islay cask. The 4th release
has natural colour and is not chill filtered.
A limited edition of 1,420
hand numbered bottles have been produced.
