Sibarita Mezcal

Mezcal remains a small-scale production created by families, or in small distilleries that make 300-400 litres a month. Sibarita Mezcal a premium product, made in small quanitities in Oaxaca Mexico from 100% Pure Agave.

The agave is roasted in a wood-fired pit for several days - a smoky flavour resulting from this roasting is characteristic of all Mezcal.

This premium Mezcal is made from 100% agave, whereas tequila must be only at 51%. The use of 100% pure agave results in the best quality spirit.

The nose is agave, tinged with smoke, and that smoke expands heartily on the palate. The finish is surprisingly clean and quite warming, reminiscent of charcoal-fired barbeque grill on a hot day. Hints of zest make this a great mixing spirit with any citrus based fruits. Fastistic in Mojitos and Daiquiris or drank straight with a taste of worm salt.
