Rioja Navajas Crianza Rosado

Produced in the Rioja Alta region in Spain, consisting of 50% of Tempranillo Grape and 50% of the Viura Grape.

The plots used for this wine are determined during the annual growth cycle, to best match the inherent properties of the varieties concerned at the moment of harvest. Hand-picked between the last week of September and the first fortnight of October.

Grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for 48 hours and the free-run juice is collected, racked off and fermented at controlled temperatures. Transferred to new American oak barrels, where it remains for 6 to 8 months, it is then clarified, cold stabilised and bottled.

Delicate stewed and ripe fruit aromas with floral hints, in harmony with the spice and vanilla contributed by the barrel. Fluid, fresh, firm and broad on the palate, with a long, warm aftertaste and sufficient structure, which are perfectly balanced.
