Bru Rua (Red Ale)

Bru Brewery was established in July 2013 after a couple of years spent researching, planning and developing by co-founders Paddy Hurley and Daire Harlin with a view to offering the Irish beer drinker a greater choice in craft beer; emphasising premium quality, craft and tradition.

The brewery is located on the banks of the River Boyne in the historic town of Trim, County Meath.

Bru Rua is a hearty robust Irish Ale, made using British and Irish Barley and Wheat with exciting new world hops providing juicy citrus and tangerine flavours.

Bru Rua goes perfectly with Red Meat, Fish, Spicy foods, and chocolate desert.

Recommended Cheese - Gruyere, Emmental and Swiss, the hoppiness of Bru Rua is really brought to the fore when paired with these cheeses.
