Bru Dubh (Stout)

Bru Brewery was established in July 2013 after a couple of years spent researching, planning and developing by co-founders Paddy Hurley and Daire Harlin with a view to offering the Irish beer drinker a greater choice in craft beer; emphasising premium quality, craft and tradition.

The brewery is located on the banks of the River Boyne in the historic town of Trim, County Meath.

Bru Dubh is a traditional Dry Irish Stout, made using British and Irish Barley, Wheat and hand roasted dark grains. Bru Dubh tastes of chocolate and coffee and is smooth with hints of Vanilla on the palate.

Bru Dubh is the perfect complement to all chocolate or coffee deserts, but also goes excellently with all types of game and red meat especially Lamb.

Recommended Cheese - Bru Dubh pairs excellently with Colby, Gloucester or cheddar and flavours combine excellently. Personally a glass of Dubh with a wedge of Blue Stilton is a treat.
